<p>News for Febuary: </p><p /><p>1. Skatathon date has been set for March 23, during CanSkate. Everyone participates and Friday CanSkaters will come on Monday too. You get pledges for each lap, or a flat rate. The money raised helps to offset the cost of the ice rental for next season, so every penny helps. </p><p /><p>2. The skaters had a great time at the competition in Campbell River. Lots of the prejuniors had their first taste of competition, and from what we hear they loved it. It was too bad we had to drive home in the snow though.</p><p /><p>3. We have to take a few more hours a week in April, so please see the revised schedule.</p><p /><p>4. Prejuniors moving to Junior ice time. Please read the instructions under club rules/policies. You need to ask either Cheryl or Shannon if you would like to have private or group lessons with them during this additional ice time. </p><p /><p>5. Marina and Riley enjoyed picking up flowers for the Four Continents championship in Vancouver. Hopefully they both make the selection for the Olympic Flower Retrievers.</p><p /><p>6. Brittany passed her Junior Silver Elements and Riley passed her Jr Bronze Freeskate test during the last test day.</p>
